1. Our stance on copyright
Twitter Video Downloader respects the intellectual property rights of creators. Our tool only works with public posts, and all downloaded media remains the property of its respective creators. We do not host, store, or cache any videos on our own servers — downloads come directly from X's servers to the user's device.
If you are a copyright holder (or authorized to act on one's behalf) and believe that content accessible through our tool infringes your rights, we will respond promptly to valid takedown requests as described below.
2. Filing a takedown notice
Send your notice to our designated copyright contact:
To be valid, your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorized to act on your behalf).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing — including the specific tweet/post URL(s) involved — with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. What happens next
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously — which may include blocking the reported post URL(s) from being processed by our tool — and notify the affected user where possible. Please note that because we do not host any media ourselves, removal at the source (the original post on X) is handled through X's own reporting tools.
4. Counter-notices
If you believe your content was wrongly blocked as a result of a takedown notice, you may send a counter-notice containing your signature, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. We will review counter-notices in good faith.
5. Repeat infringers
We may terminate or restrict access for users who repeatedly misuse the Service to infringe copyrights, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
6. Misuse warnings
Please be aware that knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — can expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
